Archive are a Post Rock band, originating from London, UK, but currently residing in Paris, France. Archive was formed by London DJs Darius Keeler and Danny Griffiths in 1994 and began as a cool electronicaproject. At the beginning, they mixed Bristol's Massive Attack, Portishead) with rap. The first album of the band, Londiniumreleased in 1996 (with Roya Arab and Rosko John as guest vocalists), is a reference. The second album, Take my Head, released in 1999 (with a new guest vocalist Suzanne Wooder), is much more melodic than Londinium.
